Background

• 1993: The company starts its own manufacturing plant mainly concentrating on high quality, dry food seasoning mixes, packaged in foil related packaging, geared at the retail market.
• 1994 - 1997: The company progressed and became the brand leader of dry dip mixes including innovative products such as a range of Just Add Milk Dips.  It also manufactured a range for one of the leading snack manufacturers in South Africa. During this period Cubbs launched its innovative range of Coat & Bake products in cartons.  Also started to export to Japan as well as various Southern African states.
• 1998: Cubbs makes a decision to further improve and expand its production capacity and capabilities by applying more focus on this part of its business. Cubbs starts to manufacture its new and exciting range of Cubbs Crispy Coatings, packaged in stand-up pouches, under the brands Cubbs Coat & Bake, Cubbs Coat & Fry and Cubbs Coat & Glaze.
• 2002: Cubbs launches its Instant Cup Pasta Soup and Instant Cup Soup ranges. Single serving, high quality instant soups. A first for the South African market.
