Cubbs Onion & Garlic party dip — made fresh in South Africa since 1993. Cubbs Onion & Garlic dip mix — just add cream cheese/sour cream for a fresh, creamy party dip in minutes.
Preparation
1) Combine contents of Onion and Garlic Instant Dip mix with 250g smooth Cream Cheese or 250 ml Sour Cream. Mix well. 2) If necessary, thin with milk or cream. 3) To enhance flavour, cover and refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Stir before serving. Tip: For a lower fat version use low fat or fat free cream cheese or plain yoghurt.
Alternative
Variation: Use as flavourant for onion & tomato relish
Serving suggestions
1) Serve with chips, crackers or fresh vegetables. 2) Potato Dip: Combine contents of Onion & Garlic Dip Mix with 1 1/2 cups (375ml) of sour cream and crushed garlic to taste (optional). Mix well. Slice peeled potatoes. Cover with mixture. Bake at 180C for 60 minutes or until done.
